General terms and conditions, Goodmesh Concours 2023
1. By accessing the website and/or submitting an application, the participant accepts the regulations, the general terms and conditions, and the privacy policy of the concours.
2. Applications of minor musicians without the legal guardian’s signature will not be considered.
3. Application
3a. Once the application fee is submitted, it cannot be reimbursed and cannot be resubmitted to change its content. Each application must be paid with €100 via bank transfer. This fee is non-refundable, and no circumstances, including an applicant’s disqualification from the Competition, will result in a refund of any kind.
3b. No applications will be accepted after September 17th 2023.
3c. Every artist can apply as a main applicant only once, but can participate in multiple settings, as long as they are not the main participant and potential award recipient.
3d. All steps and decisions of the first round will be held online via submitted application form and appropriate additional material. The videos submitted must be created specifically for our competition.
3e. Goodmesh administration reserves the right to remove applications to be viewed by the jury if they don’t comply with the rules and regulations or fit the profile of our search (e.g. not collaborating with a non-musical art form, video recorded not for the purpose of Goodmesh Concours, inappropriate content, etc.)
3f. If admitted in the final round, the participants will be invited to The Netherlands to perform their recorded video performance live on stage, in hopes to win one of the main prizes (1st, 2nd and Audience Prize). Each group will be awarded 300€ (outside of The Netherlands) and 100€ (within The Netherlands) for travel and accommodation expenses to be used on their own accord.
3g. The international jury's decisions are final. The jury members will be able to provide feedback about the applicant's performance upon the artists’ request, both in the preliminary round, semi-final as well as the final round.
3h. For the preparation of the final round, please keep in mind the venue's technical possibilities (Het Concertgebouw, Recital Hall). Please note that some technical requirements WILL NOT be possible to accommodate due to the venue's limitations.
Generally, the hall will be able to provide the following:
- Stage hand to help set-up and clean
- Standard lights that can be changed in terms of strenght/brightness, set to a certain program beforehand (from the hall, not a special light control, no colors available)
- Beamer with projection screen (5x3 metres). The screen needs to remain stationary.
- Upright Yamaha piano
- Amplification can only be provided upon request if necessary
- The entrance to the stage is on the right side facing the stage. It is connected to the dressing rooms above, so that would be the most logical way to come up and go off the stage.
- Unlimited number of music stands available (please inform us beforehand how many you would need. Stand lights, however cannot be provided so please bring your own should you need them).

! Please note that any performances that require things outside this list may not be accommodated (we advise you to email j.lorenci@goodmesh.nl for any additional questions you may have regarding this) !
