Biography

Sterre van Boxtel has already established herself on national as well as international stages and TV programs, such as Kerst met de zandtovernaar, Superkids NL and Germany, Carlo's TV Kantine with Wendy van Dijk, Little Big Shots by Steve Harvey and producer Ellen Degeneres in Hollywood, Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, De Doelen and Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. Sterre spoke and sang at TEDx TALK Alkmaar in 2019 and sang as a solo performer as a guest with choirs. In June 2020, Sterre won the RABObank Young Talent Prize which makes her the new ambassador until 2022.

At merely 13, Sterre was admitted to study at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Sweelinck Academie young talent program. She studies with Sasja Hunnego, one of the most prominent voice teachers in the Netherlands who has trained stars like Maria Fiselier, Gulnara Shafigullina, Barbara Kozelj, Louise Kwong and others. Sterre is trained in Classical music and also sings Cross Over and Musical in Latin, German, French, English, Dutch and Czech.
