Goodmesh Concours 2024

Deadline September 15th 2024 (23:59 CET)

Goodmesh Concours is the first multidisciplinary art competition of its kind. Breaking the norms of art and music contests, we ask participants to combine music with another art form for an artistically driven and limitless exploration of performance art based on one theme: "ARTificial" (2024 Edition).

The prizes include monetary rewards (1st Prize: 5.000€, 2nd Prize: 3.000€, Audience Award: 1.000€), professional video recording, photoshoot, live performance opportunities and international press exposure.

Materials to be submitted:

  • Fully submitted online application form

  • Paid application fee of 100€ per application

  • CV with a photo of all participants merged into one PDF document

  • Diploma or certificate of enrollment in a musical and/or art institution in a PDF document (optional)

  • Video link: 2-3 minute presentation video, divided into 3 parts:

    • +/- 1min: Describe yourself/yourselves as artists and why you chose to collaborate

    • +/- 1min: Describe your performance and how it incorporates the ARTificial theme

    • +/- 1min: Show parts of your performance, snippets from rehearsals are acceptable

Important note: Please ensure the first two parts are recorded in front of a neutral background and that the sound is clearly audible. The language of submitting the video must be in English, so consider adding captions in case you would record the video in another language. For the “teaser” of the performance part, editing is completely up to you, as long as it showcases the performance and the concept you will execute in case you advance to the (semi)final round. Prior discussion and consultation with Goodmesh must be made in case your group must alter the concept or make changes to the performance later on.
